Sweet and salty is the way to go. In this granola, just a little bit of salt brings out the flavor of chocolate. So good!
I served this granola on a bed of chia pudding, but the serving options are endless. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, pecans, coconut flakes, cacao powder and salt.
- In a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave, warm coconut oil and maple syrup.
- Pour oil mixture over oat mixture and stir to combine.
- Spread out granola on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Do not stir.
- Set pan on a wire rack. Let cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container up to 1 month.
